Laxmi ji is the goddess of prosperity, charm & wealth. on Diwali night people decorate their pooja place (temple) with flowers , colours & and other items. and placed goddess laxmi with lord Ganesha. on Diwali pooja is started with Ganesh pooja because lord Ganesha is remove all difficulties from the life .In pooja some items are very essential without these pooja is not complete like sandal, flowers, banana leaves, kumkum& coin of godess laxmi and lord Ganesha.
