Diwali in Tamilnadu is celebrated on thula month. the preparation of Diwali is started from before diwlai days.all people decorate thier pooja room and murties of goddess laxmi and Ganesha by flowers, kumkum, betel nut, sandal paste and etc. on diwali people make many dishes in their home like , velli appam, chutney, sambhar, idly, boondhi and ukkarai. people lighted their homes and burst cracker after pooja of goddess laxmi and Ganesha.
